In 1984 DD trans started with a modest fleet of 16 vehicles, today the company provides national and international container transport and traction with 150 lorries, 570 container chassis and 106 refrigerated trailers.
DD trans has evolved into a professionally structured company. The code Buysse has formed the point of departure for this. Thus there is an active board of directors made up of external people, including Hubert Ooghe, professor at the Vlerick Management School.
The management committee manages and guides the company using a system of formal reporting and it takes decisions on the basis of balanced scorecards. To measure is to know, they know at DD trans.
As an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, high-performance service for the customers and the wellbeing of the employees form the crux.
